Main Purpose: As a Customer Service Executive, you will need to provide a focal point for the flow of order information from customer to Billington Foods and feedback supply information to customers both internal & externa. You will need to an enthusiastic individual, flexible, organised and a willingness to learn new skills and be a real team player.

You will be required to communicate order fluctuations at individual product level and liaise with your peers, to ensure service to customer is maximized, and variations to the forecast are investigated. This requires a strong working relationship with your direct customers and your internal customers. You will work alongside all aspects of the Supply Chain, through third party logistics, third party warehousing and your internal customers to chase every case for delivery to customer, thinking outside the box and problem solving along the way.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities will consist of but are not limited to:

  • Capture orders through fax, e-mail and EDI. Interpret these orders into the correct process for that customer (ie kgs, cases, differing despatch requirements) Enter the orders onto the ERP system ensuring that the careful check procedures are followed along with stock position at time of order. (unity)
  • Control & creation of new products from customer new lines forms to internal product set up.
  • Completion of internal daily service level trackers for all customers.
  • Provide appropriate cover for the Customer Services Manager when not in the business.
  • Data capture to enable improved business reporting and improvement.
  • Transport booking for all chilled & frozen finished goods.
  • Setting up 9 codes & prices for new launches
  • Managing delisted products & providing weekly updates
  • To perform other such duties as reasonably correspond to the general character of the post and are commensurate with its level of responsibility.

Skills Required

  • Relevant experience within the Customer Service of Logistical
  • Experience in the FMCG industry
  • Proficient computer skills, with ERP system experience
  • Advances Excel use
