Marketing Executive

 

Main Purpose: The role will undertake a range of activities across customer, insight gathering, supporting internal marketing and social media plans and execution. All with the aim of supporting the internal business and our customers to achieve listings and profit.

Responsibilities:

  • Data entry for key insight program including menu mapping, Christmas reviews and trend data
  • Desk research to support the insight program for the year, collate into our product groups by channel
  • Website trawls at key menu change times
  • Summarising industry reports into bite size chucks for teams to digest
  • Support in the preparation of presentations for customer briefs
  • Support the Social Media plans for the company
  • Support Commercial team with Customer presentations

  • Support in customer and industry events.
  • Completing ad hoc tasks as outlined by the Marketing Director

 

Skills Required:

  • An individual who is competent to work individually or as part of a team, understanding the needs to support the commercial team with key insights to deliver profit.
  • Strong computer skills, as well as understating of social media platforms and social media management packages, knowledge of SEO & PPC would be advantageous
  • Experience within the food or fmcg industry is advantageous however not essential.

Role

  • Ability to work remotely and from the office in Scunthorpe or Wellingborough
  • Line manager is remote from the office so ability to manage own time is important
