Driving the high performing Planning & Offline packing functions ensuring that excellent levels of customer service levels and optimum stock inventory are maintained, stock write offs are minimised, whilst achieving budgeted costs.
Accountable for Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery & People of all aspects of the Planning & Offline packing functions
RESPONSIBILITIES / KEY TASKS

1. Lead, manage & coach teams
a. Set & regularly review annual objectives with challenging objectives to improve both the individual & operation of the department
b. Recognise, highlight and resolve, where appropriate, training needs and performance shortfalls in team members
c. Ensure the teams work in a safe manner and adhere to company H&S policies & procedures, completing required training as necessary
d. Ensure teams are always compliant with food safety policies & procedures, completing required training as necessary.2. Accountable for the optimum plan delivery
a. Support the planners to deliver the most cost-efficient plan to the Business, meeting/exceeding budget targets
b. Meeting customer orders OTIF
c. Maintaining optimum levels of stock inventory
d. Minimising stock write off
e. Work closely with the Business Unit Managers & Production Shift managers to ensure that production plans optimise machine and line efficiencies and utilisation factors.
f. Responsible for the integrity of information help within the Business system that drives the plan delivery3. Accountable for conversion of suspended stocks and co packing requirements
a. Rework, tip, sort and bright, all converted in a timely manner.
b. Management of the offline packing team & plan4. Accountable for successful new launches OTIF
a. Support the Gate meetings, work closely with NPD and marketing departments to ensure that new products are launched to time, quality and efficiency standards and customer requirements.
5. Drives Continuous Improvement culture within Planning & offline functions
a. Review processes & identify opportunities for improvement
b. Implementation of improvements from conception through to delivery
c. Work with IT to optimise planning tools
d. Demonstrate agility when faced with issues that will impact the business negatively
6. Drive daily, weekly, monthly planning KPIs
a. Trending data ensuring performance is on track, correct & action where appropriate if not aligned to targets
b. Ensure that the planning KPI’s are produced on time and meet budgetary and customer requirements.
