Following the success of the soups, Glorious! have launched a brand new range of delicious cooking sauces to help make cooking a quick but tasty dinner simple and hassle free. Easy to use and packed full of flavour, our Innovation Chef Simon created three, vegan spice rub/sauce combos, inspired by classic flavours from Mexico, India and the Caribbean.
Simon commented: “These sauces bring authentic flavours from around the world to your plate at home, without any of the hassle of slaving over a pan for hours. Glorious! is all about convenience, without sacrificing quality. We spent a lot of time making sure our ingredients blend together to create something that enhances whatever you add to the sauces.
“With a rise in vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian diets, these sauces had to be able to work for everyone, and I think we’ve made something that not only tastes delicious, but can be used to create whatever you want. That’s one of the great things about this range of sauces, aside from being so quick and easy to use, the flexibility of them means there’s no limit to what you pair them with.
“My favourite has to be the Makhani with Indian spices which I love to have on a Friday night, mixed with chickpeas, fresh spinach and chopped coriander, with some homemade chapatis and a cold beer on the side.”
The sauces can be used to perk up meat, fish or vegetables as well as any favourite cheese or plant-based protein, there are countless recipe options to experiment with. Available in the chilled aisle in over 50 Sainsbury’s stores, these sauces will spice up weeknights, and leftovers make for great lunches the next day.
