With the food industry always presenting new and exciting opportunities to be better at what we do, and sustainability high on all our agendas, the fifth edition of our The Billington Way Report highlights our commitment to a more sustainable way of working across the business.
Driving projects through our three pillars – Community, People and Environment – we’ve achieved so much to be proud of over the last 12 months. Our efforts have built a better organisation and culture, and made a positive difference in the wider world. From the launch of our charity, The Billington Foundation – raising funds for our charity partner Buttle UK – to our new recognition and wellbeing schemes across the business, we’re working hard to make lives better for our people and those in our communities. This year has seen us recycle hundreds of tonnes of potential waste from across the organisation, and we’re working on significantly reducing the amount of plastic we’re using. Sustainability is a priority for us, and we’ll continue to make progressive steps to reduce our environmental impact whilst retaining the highest quality products we’re known for.
