Billington Foods, part of The Billington Group, has achieved outstanding recognition at the British Pie Awards 2025, securing five prestigious accolades, including the coveted Overall Class Champion title for its standout Chicken & Thatcher’s Pie.
Held annually in Melton Mowbray, the British Pie Awards celebrate excellence in pie-making across the UK food industry. Representing Billington Foods Wellingborough, Head of Development Lee Brierley and Process Manager Vicki McQueen proudly accepted the awards on behalf of the business.
To mark the achievement, the Wellingborough site, Billington Foods’ centre of excellence for pies and desserts hosted a special recognition event, where team members received certificates and enjoyed a celebratory lunch featuring their award-winning pies.
Vicki McQueen, Process Manager, shared:
