The Billington Group has completed the sale of Billington Foods to The Compleat Food Group.
Billington Foods is a leading producer of chilled, frozen and ambient sauces and soups, pies and desserts, supplying customers across UK foodservice, retail and third-party manufacturing.
The business has been an important part of The Billington Group, establishing a strong reputation for innovation, quality and customer service. Following careful consideration, the Group believes that becoming part of The Compleat Food Group represents the right next step for Billington Foods to fulfil its long term potential in the UK Retail and Foodservice sectors.
The Compleat Food Group is one of the UK’s leading prepared food businesses, closely aligned with Billington Foods’ core product categories. The move will provide Billington Foods with access to the scale, investment and specialist expertise needed to support its future growth.
Peter Allan and the Billington Foods senior leadership team will remain with the business, providing continuity and supporting a smooth transition into The Compleat Food Group.
